| Join us for "Make a Difference Day" at Makapu`u beach as we will be cleaning up the beach and counting the number of cigarette butts collected. We will be handing out BUTTsOUT "butt holders" to smokers (18 yrs. and older). The goal of the cigarette butt litter prevention campaign is to help the environment, save marine life and birds by giving BUTTsOUT "butt holders" to smokers so they will have a place to dispose of their cigarette butts instead of tossing it on the ground. |

 "Butt holders" like this will be provided free to smokers 18 yrs. and older on Make a Difference Day at Makapu`u Beach. Smokers who receive a "butt holder" will asked to participate in a short survey and follow-up later. |
Schedule: Please arrive by 2:45pm to check-in. What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, bucket, and enclosed shoes. What is provided: Bags, gloves, water Win Prizes Prize drawing at the end of the event. All registered volunteers who participate on the day will be entered in the drawing for prizes. Win prizes from Ben & Jerry's and Kale's Natural Foods.
