Hawai`i State Teacher's Association Science Fall Conference
B.E.A.C.H. had an information/display table at the Hawai`i State Teacher's Association Science Fall Conference on Saturday, October 20, 2007. B.E.A.C.H. volunteers talked to science teachers about the global problem of marine debris and how to reduce plastic litter.


Rock the Earth
B.E.A.C.H. had an information table at the Rock the Earth Benefit concert at Aloha Tower Marketplace on Thursday, October 25, 2007. Rock the Earth is a non-profit environmental group that is a watchdog for worldwide environmental issues.


Waldorfaire
B.E.A.C.H. had a display table at the Waldorf School's 46th annual Waldorfaire on Saturday, November 10, 2007. Volunteers educated people at the Faire about marine debris and solutions to what people can do to lessen plastic pollution.



Live the Legacy
B.E.A.C.H. had an information table at the Live the Legacy event on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Church of the Crossroads. The event honoured the late John Kelly, environmental activist, surfer, artist, and teacher. A panel discussion was held and leading voices from youth activists to legislators answered questions about the history and future of activism in Hawai`i. A short John Kelly tribute film David Brown, director of Surfing for Life was also shown.
