Human Rights Day

B.E.A.C.H. partnered with the Conservation Council for Hawai`i on Thursday March 13, 2008 to create an informative display of marine debris at the Hawaii State Capitol for Human Rights Day. Organizations were invited to share information and opportunities for youth to be engaged in specific areas of concern.  Legislators, community organizations, school leaders, and the public were invited to gather and dialogue about the role of education in the civic preparation of youth.
