2006 Waimanalo Bay Recreation Area Beach Clean-ups

On November 20, 2006 Beach Environmental Awareness Campaign Hawai`i and a group of students from the UH College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) did a clean-up at Waimanalo Bay Recreation Area. This is one of the areas in Waimanalo where the City and County of Honolulu does not use the beach sifting machines to clean the beach. Students used sand sifters to clean the beach and picked up 20 bags of marine debris.
